Scottish Eggs for Easter

One of the benefits of living in Denmark is the proximity to my European family members. Flights promise a quick hop from my local airport to their local airport. I had hoped to visit soon after I arrived but between yellow and red cards and work …. I wasn’t actually able to until Easter weekend.

I purposely booked flights that would allow me to finish all of my experiments on Friday and get back on Monday in time to do the next steps. But then the Brussels attacks interfered with that plan. I am now behind on many of my experiments BUT I got an extra day of family time. I think this is some sort of “work-life-balance” challenge.

My påske frokost did not involve any rye bread or smoked fish but it didn’t involve any scotch eggs either! We had a lovely turkey dinner and an (indoor- this is Scotland we’re talking about) Easter egg hunt.
